Experienced and Mature Caregivers in Pinellas, Pasco, and Hillsborough Counties
At NO PLACE LIKE HOMECARE we refer compassionate and experienced caregivers for senior adults, while also tailoring the level and expertise of care to your specific needs. At a complimentary In-Home Assessment you will meet with an owner to discuss your or a loved one’s care needs. We will get to know you as a person, not just as a patient. This assessment is important when matching our clients with the right type of compassionate caregiver.
We refer experienced and mature caregivers for seniors who display a passion for senior adults. The home health care field is an expanding market, so there is no shortage of nurses and caregivers looking for work. Because of this we can be very selective, and we pride ourselves on partnering with only the “best of the best”. Many caregivers are licensed Nursing Aides or Home Health Aides who are trained in a variety of conditions affecting seniors. In addition we require: Level II Nationwide FBI Background Screening / Finger-Printing, Verified Work History, Reference Check, Rigorous Formal Interview Process, and Mandatory Drug Testing. Therefore we guarantee not only the Competency but also the Quality of the caregivers.
At NO PLACE LIKE HOMECARE we refer the following professional senior home caregivers:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Home Health Aide (HHA)
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are licensed through the Department of Health and Florida’s Agency for HealthCare Administration. The in home caregivers are trained in a variety of areas specifically assisting patients with their activities of daily living. For example the CNAs and HHAs can assist patients with their personal care needs, morning and evening care, bathing and dressing, medication reminders, fall prevention, toileting and transferring, and general care and support. They also can take vital signs (I.E. blood pressure), and make observations and monitor for any health and well-being concerns. CNAs and HHAs have active CPR training, along with training on HIV, Medication Management Assistance, and Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Similar to our Companion Caregivers, they can also assist with cooking, cleaning, errand services, and homemaking.
Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Though most senior adults only require a companion or CNA / HHA, we also can refer Registered and Practical Nurses (RN / LPN) when requested. RNs and LPNS are also licensed through the Department of Health and Florida’s Agency for HealthCare Administration; The caregivers for seniors go through a lengthy training program for their advanced degrees. RNs and LPNs can assist patients with many skilled needs and also commonly perform check in visits when requested in order to supervise a CNA or companion in the home and to also communicate any concerns to a patient’s primary MD or family.
